Meet Andrea (she/her)! Andrea graduated from the University of Washington with a B.A. in French and went on to earn her M.A.T. in French from Oregon State University. Her teaching journey began as an assistante d'anglais in a French high school in Normandy, and she now has over 14 years of experience teaching French both in person and virtually. Andrea is well-versed in the Comprehensible Input teaching methodology and enjoys using a storytelling or narrative-based approach, though she is also skilled in traditional grammar-based teaching. With Tutor Corps, Andrea supports students from beginner French through AP. When Andrea isn't tutoring, you can find her at the piano, hiking, or trying out a new recipe in the kitchen.
