Leadership Team Feature: Alyssa C.

This fall, the Tutor Corps team has had the privilege of welcoming Alyssa Choudhry to our ranks. Alyssa, the primary liaison for our Tutor Corps families and students seeking tutoring, brings an impressive background to the role. She has a BS in Meteorology and an MS in Organizational Leadership and spent 10 years working in college admissions before joining us. Due to her background in college admissions, she’s in a wonderful position to shepherd families through the tutoring process, as she has unique insight into supporting students through periods of transition and helping them meet their goals.

When asked about what her favorite part of supporting Tutor Corps students so far has been, she says, “I’ve really enjoyed getting to know the families and students that we serve. Tutor Corps families come from diverse backgrounds but we all have the same goal: building academic skills and confidence for all students.”

Outside of her fabulous work on our team, Alyssa is the proud mom of twins and loves all things Disney (she’s excited for an upcoming trip in January!), running and marathon-training, and the calm of indulging in a nice cup of coffee.
